Hi, I’m Chi.

Ever since I was little - literally 5 - I’ve had a passion for writing.  I write in my free time – when I’m not at work, trying to work out, or running around Chicago. Now, I use my talent as a wordsmith to bring my diverse perspective to the world in the books that I write and share with the world.

The Author

I like to create unique worlds with strong female heroines of color. One day I got tired of reading my favorite genres and not finding characters like me who mattered – so I decided to tell those stories myself. My heroines aren’t perfect – they’re messy, fallible, and flawed just like you or I. But they make it to the end of the story anyways, always a bit stronger, tougher, and ready to take on their next challenge – even if the next challenge is quite literally out of this world.

Genres: My favorite thing as an author is to imagine the world in unique ways, which means that the majority of my original work is Fantasy. I write for adult audiences, but my work is appropriate for older teen and above readers. Now go read - I promise you’ll find something you like!

My Work

War of the Wings Trilogy: My first series, the War of the Wings Trilogy, explores fairies like you’ve never seen them before. In Book 1 - Fae Found - my heroine Ava wakes up with no memories as a guest of the Fae Court, and from there her journey takes her directly into the center of a brewing war. Book 1 is available everywhere you buy books online, and Book 2 will open for pre-order in Summer 2022.
